Torill Kolsrud

Torill Kolsrud was born in Norway, and grew up in Bergen where she started dancing at the local school. She later went on to try various styles of dance, and fell in love with contemporary dance.
She studied at Spin Off Forstudium i Dans, and went on to graduate from The Ballet Academy in Stockholm in 2018. During the education in Stockholm she was a member of the youth company ilYoung 2017, working with Lee Brummer and Israel Aloni.
She had the pleasure of performing works by Satoshi Kudo, Ohad Naharin, Mats Ek and Subjazz for the exam tour.
After graduating Torill was an apprentice and guest dancer at Nationaltheater Mannheim for the season 2018-19. That season she worked with Stephan Thoss, Yuki Mori, and Liliana Barros.
Torill was part of NSP2 (2020-2021).
