Summer Tai
Graduating from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts School of Dance, Summer Tai majored in contemporary dance. Her expertise covers various dance genres, including contemporary, Latin, jazz, street dance, and more.
Tai has established a prolific career collaborating with both local and international choreographers and directors, showcasing her talent on stages around the world. Some of her notable collaborators include Leila McMillan from the UK, John Utans and Jaime Redfern from Australia, Zhou Yi from Taiwan, and a range of Hong Kong-based artists such as Ata Wong, Bonnie Chan, Chow Pe Wan, and Li Yongjing.
Tai actively engaged in diverse performing arts endeavors, and her recent performances reflect her versatility. These include her roles in Théâtre de la Feuille's Fall and Flow and Theatre du Pif's Love in the Time of, where she displayed her acting skills. Additionally, she contributed her dance prowess to the imPerfect Dancers Company's production of Hamlet and another Théâtre de la Feuille piece titled What You See Is Not You. She also embarked on a solo performance in the #FOLLOWMi Sammi Cheng World Tour Hong Kong Station 2019, and demonstrated her wirework abilities in Pretty Crazy Joey Yung's World Tour Concert. Her involvement in the musical realm is showcased in her participation in Actors' Family's A Midsummer Night's Dream 2.0, highlighting her multifaceted contributions to the performing arts scene.
