Mai Lisa Guinoo trained classical ballet at the Royal Swedish Ballet School and the Norwegian National Academy of the Arts in Oslo (KHiO). After graduating, she danced with the companies Carte Blanche, IT Dansa, Rambert & GöteborgsOperans Danskompani.
Mai Lisa has created and performed with choreographers such as Sharon Eyal, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Damien Jalet, Ohad Naharin, Roy Assaf, Saburo Teshigawara, Jiri Kylian, Michael Keegan Dolan, Wang & Ramirez, Anton Lackhy, Stijn Celis, Alexander Ekman and Itzik Galili to name a few.
Mai Lisa is currently on a leave of absence from GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, where she is working with Nagelhus Schia Productions (NSP), Alan Lucien Øyen's Winter Guests, Felix Landerer, as well as is teaching around Scandinavia.
