Oliver Paulsson was born and raised in Staffanstorp, a small city in Sweden just outside of Malmö. His entry point to dance was through various street styles, but his interest in dance quickly widened to include a plethora of styles and culminated in a high school education in dance. During the years following his education, Oliver's career took a more entrepreneurial turn, and he founded his own company through which he and a small team of employees managed 30 freelance dancers in a total of 44 jobs for various event organizers and commercial agencies in south of Sweden, organized several dance camps and workshops with over 4000 participants in total, as well as produced a show in collaboration with some of south of Sweden's biggest dance schools and groups.

Oliver later moved to Oslo, where he is working as a dancer and choreographer today. He is educated at Oslo National Academy of the Arts with a bachelor in Contemporary Dance, a journey which has led him to work with choreographers such as Jonathan Burrows, Eszter Salamon, Hooman Sharifi, Mia Habib, Janne-Camilla Lyster, Ina Christel Johannessen and Ludvig Daae. Throughout the years he has also pursued a commercial career, working as a dancer and choreographer with artists, brands and productions such as BTS, Conor Maynard, IKEA, Melodi Grand Prix, Stjernekamp and Spellemannsprisen, as well as being represented by the world-renowned, London-based casting agency Mark Summers.

Oliver was part of NSP 2 (2021-2022).
