Nora Lønnebotn Svendsgård

Nora Lønnebotn Svendsgård is a dancer from Bergen, Norway. In 2019 she graduated from the contemporary department at The Royal Swedish Ballet School in Stockholm, Sweden. Here she performed pieces by Kenneth Kvarnström, Cilla Olsen, Helena Franzén, Joseph Sturdy and Fan Luo.

She was an apprentice at Skånes Dansteater in Malmö, Sweden, before joining IT Dansa - a touring youth company based in Barcelona, Spain. During her time in IT Dansa she performed pieces by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Alexander Ekman, Akram Khan, Lorena Nogal, Montse Sánchez and Ramón Beaza.

Since 2021 she has been working with Jo Strømgren Kompani. Touring in Europe, Asia and North America, she performed pieces such as Made in Oslo, The Loft, Salve Regina and The Ministry of Unresolved Feelings. 

Nora is part of NSP 2 for the season 2024-2025.
