Katja Henriksen Schia

Katja Henriksen Schia is a performer, choreographer and illustrator.
Schia defines her artistic practice through drawing and movement. She often wants to promote a degree of transparency and / or accessibility by putting materials into systems for repetition. Katja is educated at Spin-off pre-study in dance (2005-06) and the Oslo Academy of the Arts, BA contemporary dance (2006-09). She was born (b. 1986) and grew up in Bjerke, Oslo. Katja is working as a professional dancer with Norwegian dance companies, and create work collectively.
