Gigi Yang

Born in Chongqing, Gigi Yang graduated from the Beijing Dance Academy, majoring in Chinese Folk Dance. She joined the Hong Kong Dance Company in 2002, and the City Contemporary Dance Company in 2006 as a full-time professional dancer.

Yang collaborates with various artists and arts companies as a movement performer; her collaborators included Helen Lai, Shen Wei, Y-Space, HO BIT GOON, Passoverdance, DanceArt, Unlock Dancing Plaza, Tang Shu-wing Theatre Studio, etc.

Yang currently works as a freelance dance practitioner.
