Elias Bäckebjörk

Originally from Sweden, Elias Bäckebjörk is currently based in Oslo.

Elias started his professional dance education in New York within the ISVP dance program in Steps on Broadway between 2013-2014. He then moved on to Balettakademien Stockholm for the three-year Professional Dancers Education and earned his diploma. Besides dancing, Elias often collaborates with other artforms, showing a broad versatility and repertoire within the performing arts. Elias has worked in several parts of Europe, Asia and New York with choreographers such as Lotem Regev, Lee Brummer, Pascal Marty, Julia Ehrstrand, Guido Markowitz, Edan Gorlicki, and Damian Gmüer.

Before he moved to Norway he was a member of the Ballet Theatre Pforzheim for two years under the direction of Guido Markowitz. During this period he performed in several productions and creative projects every season.

Elias was part of NSP2 (2020-2021).
