Daniel Sarr
Daniel Sarr began his studies at the Norwegian National Academy of the Arts at the age of 16, and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor in Jazz. He specializes in Hip Hop and Jazz, and has training in various other styles.
Daniel has worked with companies & choreographers including: Oslo Danse Ensemble, Subjazz, Ballet Boyz (UK), Jo Strømgren, Fredrik Benke Rydman (Sweden), Sølvi Edvardsen, Kjersti Alveberg, Ole Martin Meland, Lise Tiller & Nakul Dev Mahajan (US/India). In addition he is often featured in various TV productions as a dancer & choreographer.
In 2011 Daniel represented Norway in the televised dance competition ‘Eurovision Young Dancers’. He competed against 9 other countries and won first prize.
Daniel was later invited to perform as a soloist at the Rose d’Or awards in Brussels, EDFC in Amsterdam and Telenors Culture Prize in Norway. He was also a semi-finalist in So You Think You Can Dance (Scandinavia).
